Frequently Asked Questions...

Q: What does TLC provide?
A: TLC provides assistance with the creation of your projects. Starting with typesetting and layout, through to printing and bindery, TLC makes sure that your project is produced exactly to your specifications. The typesetting and layout are done in-house, while all printing and bindery is contracted out to wholesale suppliers that are chosen for their qualilty and pricing.

Q: Can you match any color?
A: We do our best to match the color you need. Some colors are more difficult to match than others, especially certain shades of red and blue. Colors of paper and output devices can also alter colors.

Q: Do you have a price sheet?
A: On certain projects we can approximate a cost. However, most of our projects are customized, which requires specific methods of production for which we provide an individualized estimate.

Q: Do you offer any design assistance?
A: If you can picture it, we can design it. Our designers can create anything from a simple business card to a full sized poster. We will help you select paper stock, ink colors, graphics and fonts to create a piece that will make you stand out from your competition.

Q: How can I get a quote on my project?
A: The most efficient way to get a quote is to send your specifications and we will put together your information and provide a quotation with 24 hours (or sooner).

Q: How long will it take to complete my job?
A: It all depends on the amount of work involved. Once we receive the order, discuss the specifics and you approve the artwork, we can give you a more accurate completion date - though generally, most projects are completed in a week to 10 days, while we can always accommodate orders needed in a hurry.

Q: If my project is on a disk, how should I prepare the file for you?
A: We have both PC and MAC capabilities. There is no need for you to convert your file in order to get it produced. The best type of file to send is a PDF file as it is the most convenient and readily acceptable file format.
